Services Provided

Wanderlust Psychology works alongside individuals, couples, children, parents and families in order to provide personalised care to manage your current circumstances.

If you need to speak with someone, you are able to self-refer for services, but it is recommended that you obtain a Mental Health Care Plan in collaboration with your GP to access subsidised psychology sessions.

 

People come to see a psychologist for a variety of reasons including;

  • Depression and low mood

  • Anxiety

  • Adjusting to difficult life circumstances

  • Stress

  • Sleep

  • Work and career

  • Health improvement

  • Motivation, performance enhancement

  • Anger

  • Relationships

  • Loss and grief

  • Parenting

  • Goal Setting

 

Each session is of 50 minutes duration and can be scheduled on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis. During the first session your therapist will discuss your presenting concerns and expectations surrounding seeking the service. On completion of the first session some recommendations will be provided in relation to your ongoing treatment needs duration and frequency.

 

Sessions are private and confidential, except under limited circumstances where there are legal and ethical obligations to report information to other agencies, or with your expressed consent to share information. This will be explained in more detail by your psychologist at the commencement of your first session. 

 

Wanderlust Psychology can also provide Psychological Assessment and Reports for both adults and children.
