Cancellation Policy
At Wanderlust Psychology, appointments are in high demand and we aim to provide a professional service which allows our Psychologists to service as many clients as possible.
A late cancelled or “no show” appointment is a loss to three people:

The client who is delaying their own therapy progress

Another client who is currently on the waiting list to see our psychologist urgently

Our Psychologist, who spends time preparing a session.
Cancellation fees can be avoided if you contact us at Gladstone GP Superclinic by phone on (07) 4978 7868, at least two full business days prior to your appointment.
You can also reply to your SMS appointment reminder or re-schedule in person at the clinic. Please be responsible and let us know of cancellations at the earliest possible convenience, so that the space can be offered to someone else in need.
When sufficient notice is provided no fee will be charged. Otherwise a fee equal to 100% of the scheduled session fee will be charged where Wanderlust Psychology Services is unable to fill the appointment time-slot.
Failing to show up to an appointment means that it is impossible for to offer an appointment to another patient in need. If you do not show up to your appointment you will be charged a fee of 100% of the scheduled session fee , this will be payable prior to any future appointments being scheduled. If you continue to miss appointments, this may jeopardise future appointments in the practice.

No Show: Non-attendance for a scheduled service without notice. These non-attendance and Late Cancellation fees are not entitled to a Medicare rebate.
Business Day: Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm (excluding Public Holidays).
Late arrival: In the event that you are late for an appointment, Wanderlust Psychology will attempt to see you as soon as practical, though your session duration may be shortened in length. If you are more than 20minutes late the appointment will require reschedule.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances with staffing, Wanderlust Psychology may need to reschedule your appointment. We will endeavour to provide as much notice as possible in such instances.
